Athyrium Niponicum Var. Pictum ‘Pewter Lace’

This deciduous fern produces dramatic fronds of silvery green foliage with beet-red midribs. The arching fronds form an elegant clump of foliage that makes superb ground cover for a damp, shaded spot. Athyrium niponicum var. pictum ‘Pewter Lace’ is an exceptionally beautiful hardy perennial, offering good architectural interest and fabulous texture on neutral to acid soils. Ideal for planting in borders, containers, woodland edges or the boggy soil next to ponds. Height: 50cm (19″). Spread: 100cm (39″).
