Fig Osborne Prolific – Gift

A superb, compact Fig tree that thrives in cooler UK conditions! Fig ‘Osborne’s Prolific’ is perfect for growing in a container on the patio, or trained against a sheltered wall. The medium-sized fruits are yellow skinned with a purple-brown stripe and amber pulp with a rich and sweet flavour. Like all Figs it produces two crops per season during hot UK summers, and if protected over winter the second crop will ripen early during the following summer. Figs are both productive and attractive with large, lobed leaves that make a showy focal point in the garden. Height and spread: 2m (78”). Supplied as a 2 litre potted plant.
