A short and sturdy Helenium that is useful for providing a long season of colour in small gardens or at the front of a deep border. From July to September, Helenium ‘Mardi Gras’ bears unusually large, yellow, daisy-like flowers with a prominent yellow-brown cone at the centre. The flowers deepen to orange as they age. The blooms are held on stiff stems above neat clumps of mid-green leaves. Highly attractive to beneficial pollinators. Height: 75cm (30in). Spread: 60cm (24in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
