Ornithogalum Dubium

Ornithogalum dubium is an unusual flowering houseplant with sizzling orange flowers in winter and spring just when you need a lift. It looks fabulous on its own, or as part of a houseplant collection where its showy orange blooms will shine out beautifully against background foliage plants. From a low rosette of lance-shaped leaves emerge one or two stalks bearing racemes of star-shaped orange to yellow flowers over several weeks. Height and spread: 30cm (12in).
