Itoh Peonies are intersectional hybrids, marrying together the best traits of both herbaceous and tree peony parentage. This exotic looking cultivar produces an early summer display of semi-double blooms – a twirling tutu of palest pink with a dash of raspberry at the centre of each flower. The spidery, pale-gold stamens create a stunning contrast. Peony ‘Ballarena De Saval’ is a compact plant forming a bushy mound of attractive foliage that makes a lovely addition to a sunny border.
